On Friday 15 July 2011 the following addendum to the Ministerial Code was made by the Prime Minister:
“The Government will be open about its links with the media. All meetings with newspaper and other media proprietors, editors and senior executives will be published quarterly regardless of the purpose of the meeting.”

Shothereto read all contact with media moguls and reprentatives. We now know Cameron didn’t always meet in person however they were in contact and communicating by various means and through 3rd parties.

The ministerial code is quite clear to everyone, even to the PM; it is now beyond codes and legislations, the PM is aware that he is
fighting for his political career, he will wait and wish for as less damage as possible, he knows that it is not in his hand anymore, it’s in the Murdoch’s & Co.
Surrendering to this painful fact, all he has to do is to “keep his mouth shut” exactly as the Sun asked him to do on its page “of few days ago” we all heard Mr Murdoch Snr recently telling the inquiry “if you want to know what he is saying, you have to read the Sun!”
Ironically, it seems until the very last minute the PM will keep listening to what the Murdoch’s and Co have to say!
“All meetings” huh? So no mention of texts, calls and emails then? Looks like business as usual for Double Dip Dave…
Get those PAYG burner phones ready Dave – back channels are go!
