Adam Smith e-mail – is this a private email used by a Special Adviser? The government says it shouldn’t be subject to Freedom of Information requests. How many more are like this?

If the content of the correspondence relates to matters affecting the electorate then of course it is in the public domain and the need for scrutiny. All material of public office should be scrutinised, it shouldn’t matter what email server one uses, the content by the elected official affects public outcomes and in this case more so.
