How about Mandelson “level” with the British public first about [ahem: libelous allegations deleted before publication].

Protestations about the honesty of another and “truth” are the very definition of hypocrisy where Mandelson is concerned.

Pretty clear that Chameleon and Osborne (when they get together and manage an agreement) have no real Plans for the UK economy.

They have a position or perhaps a series of positions.

They don’t try and work out what is best to do, but choose instead to orient themselves vis a vis Labour’s plans.

As their poll standing worsens they will readjust their position so as to create a new PR possibility.

That is all.
