Four cans of lager tax

David Cameron: £1.30 extra on four cans of lager? That’s steep.

More than doubles the price of the cheapest own brand 4 packs @ 2.1% alcohol which sell at about 90p for 4 cans – bitter or lager – in supermarkets.

Another good reason for voting against Cameron. And will Motivate many to do so.

How ignorant are these people of the way others live? Cameron is rich and as out of touch as his allowance funded mansion suggests. And who else has admitted not even knowing how many houses he and his wife own?

Because 17 year olds paying £1.99 for 3 litres of 7.5% cider that tastes like paint stripper, and corner shops flogging it to them, makes for a ‘vibrant’ neighbourhood on a Friday night – so long as you don’t live there.

Illegal sales of that sort should be stopped – & prosecutions work.

Also ASBOs to cover the areas where that happens work, I’ve lived in an area where that was proved.
