		<description>I&#039;m not sure Davies actually says journalists are lazy - almost the opposite, that they are under so much pressure to churn out material quickly that they just don&#039;t have time to do a better job.

It&#039;s a good book, but there&#039;s a tendency for people to read it and assume that every journalist spends every hour just re-writing press releases or stories from other sources, which is not the case.

It also warns that the increasing importance of the internet as a method of distributing news has made the problem worse.</description>
