Dods publications: Spammers

I’ve been trying to get off the mailing list of the totally pointless “House magazine” for over a year now. Every time they write back to say I’ll be removed from the list yet nothing ever happens.

Now an operative for the House magazine is spamming me. So please, take me of the mailing list and stop sending me unsolicited emails.

UPDATE: I’ve amended this post to remove the name of the person who sent me the email. I’m assured that my name has been removed from the mailing list. So I don’t want to cause any more grief for the poor person who is employed to invite me to conferences by email. The matter is closed.

Aren’t there any anti-spamming laws?

Just be grateful they don’t phone to sell you advertising. I’ve lost times of the number of times I’ve said I know more effective communications techniques!

We’ve tried unsuccessfully to unsubscribe to “Whitehall and Westminster World” for about a year now. You have my total sympathy.

I have a copy of the House Magazine Lords Committee Guide 2009 (still in the original packaging!) if anyone is having trouble sleeping.

Tom – I quite like Whitehall and Westminster World. It has a news focus that is useful to my day job.
