I was in a happy and jokey mood yesterday afternoon, then I logged onto Twitter and saw Stephen Fry’s tweet about the death of Tony Hart.
I suddenly felt really sad, like my Granddad had just died or something; despite not having even had a single thought about the man in years.
He was truly one of those people who means alot to the child inside you, that the adult often forgets about. I felt so sad to read about his stroke, I suppose it was a blessing that he did not suffer too long in a that disabled state.

I’ve written a blog about his life and achievements and asked people to leave tributes and comments which I will forward to his management.
Cheers.
