"I'm going to sign up."

You'll regret it.

I 'enjoyed' a similar experience to Will's. Draper treated my comment like dirt, and he treated me like dirt. Repeatedly. He has no understanding of or instinct for blogging that I can see. Quite the opposite, in fact.

Latest post on this subject here:

Tom, the Tory latecomers have worked very hard to undermine your well-deserved reputation as a sincere and principled blogger, but you yourself could scuttle it in a stroke by taking part in Draper's charade.

Stay above it, for your own sake.

Thanks for the reply, Tom!

You are welcome over at mine, too - I think I really should add you to my blogroll - no reciprocation needed, but, as always, ya can if ya want!

Iain, this is the whole problem - although I want to see the Labour party lose this coming election, and I certainly DON'T want a Tory government just not interacting with MPs is not an option.

I hope upon hope that this site works for Labour - especially if it gets the Labour party back to the party I knew and loved. It used to be a party where discussion was never stifled, criticism was welcomed and debate was engaged.

What I feel went wrong was those who said you cannot speak out of turn or we will lose the election.

OK, that worked for a few elections, and then it became the mantra for the party, which led to a party that is or seems to be against the very heart of what made me want to join it.

This leadership is taking away civil liberties like there is no tomorrow, reason number one why I want them to lose - they have no fear of the public any more, reason number 2.

The reasons go one - and I could take up all of today's type to say why I am disgusted by some who are in the Labour party now and that I feel they have ruined the party.

It won't stop me engaging them when I can - it won't stop me from being critical - but just to say you won't join means you don't want to engage them so they can see the light - and they do need to, that's for sure.

As I said on that blog, I will be voting LibDem come the election and I do hope that they do get into power - they are the only credible alternative at the moment, if I had wanted a Tory government I would have voted for them - I don't, and didn't.

Will do Will.

I suspect they thought you might be a troll, Will. From the comments section, they were getting hit by a concerted effort to undermine the launch of the site. Why not let it calm down a bit and drop by in a couple of weeks.

Meanwhile, you're welcome over here.

Let me know when you post your piece, Tom - I will come over to look. I registered, made a comment and it was trashed by the admin - you weren't on duty were you?

I did ask, in my subsequent comment, why it had been trashed and that could I be added to the Z-List, could you put in a good word for me to get on it?

Much appreciated, mate!

If they aren't going to allow debate - which I see you do sometimes here - what is the point of it?
