Is reversing a new tax that has yet to be put in place (ie the announced 0.5% NI Increase in November 2008’s Pre-Budget report) really to be classed as a tax cut?
Hasn’t one G. Brown of No 10, Downing Street, London said some things about “no more boom and bust” which have subsequently turned out to be a mite hubristic?
I don’t see how you can try and make a point that Osbourne’s being inconsistent as you presumably supported Brown when he declared he wouldn’t raise taxes but cynically raised NI instead.
