It’s not often I link directly to the Labour Party web site but the announcement today on fair rules for strong communities will be important next year. (sorry the document is only in pdf format at the moment)

Way to avoid a cliche, Gordon.
Separate point, but this exact phrase is used so many times that I can’t help but ask: what exactly are ‘the rules’ Labour politicians keep on going on about?
1997 is such a long time ago, isn’t it Tom….?
If I hear Brown or anyone else talk about “hard working families” again I’ll strangle him. What about single people, childless couples, pensioners, lone parents? Have the focus groups decided they are expendable in voting terms?
