How can the message be sent to all councils? Would they cope with the rush of empowered citizens? I think this is fantastic?
I’ve just drawn this to the attention of colleagues at Socitm, which speaks for ICT in local government. We have a large web community following Better connected, our annual survey of all local authority websites and the Website Takeup service that monitors usage of/satisfaction with council sites. Its a topic of great interest to us and our members so we’ll be following this up…
