Forgive me for being way behind on the attempt to expose the SNP for closing down honest debate during the run up to a by-election but I’ve been away for a few days. The blogosphere seems to be doing an admirable job of exposing the activities of SNP councillor Jahangir Hanif without me though. Let us see if the mainstream media decide to run with it. Not for the first time this summer, they seem to be late to the party.

I don’t know Tom, there’s open and honest debate and then there’s messing in a family’s personal troubles for some cheap political gain (not that I think that Labour have gained much from their involvement)
I’m sure Kezia hasn’t the stomach for a legal battle and I daresay Jahangir Hanif hasn’t either with a messy divorce to sort out.
Is it not best to just give this whole topic a miss and concentrate on something else? A quick browse of the BBC webpage provides plenty of more worthy talking points I would have thought…
Don’t get me started on the SNP. Worst hypocrits in British politics, and that’s really saying something.
My personal favourite is they way they kicked off the waste of time and money that was the Cash for Honours affair. It would be admirable for a party to clamp down on favours being given to donors, were it not for the fact that the party’s promise to re-regulate bus services was dropped after the boss of Stagecoach (not a man who’s personal views generaly gel with those of the left) wrote them a stonking big cheque.
Funny that.
I disagree with Jeff and think councillor Hanif should be exposed. People in elected office can not go around in lawless areas shooting AK47′s around young children, and putting them in harms way. A quick google search on this SNP guy shows that he has been in the Scottish media for many things including being a rogue landlord, serious complaints to the care commission by patients of mistreatment in his nursing home, firing Klashnikovs, taking advantage of his position to get areas generated where he owns property, demolishing cultural heritage sites etc etc.
Corrupt irresponsible behaviour should be challenged, and politicians should be held to account.
