Find an Australian, so I can talk about sport

“The British have been brilliant, superb, unrelenting, unflinching, unforgiving.”

Quality piece by Simon Barnes in The Times this morning. I’ve really enjoyed their coverage of the Olympics.

Don’t get too confident just yet Tom - we Aussies have just nudged ahead of you again last night (and still have medals coming from the team events eg Hockey etc).

While we’re on the topic though - why isn’t the BBC accomodating the 200,000 Aussies in London by broadcasting Aussie events via I-player?? http://tokblog.org/?p=790

Using iplayer to replay events that were already broadcast on TV seems pretty unimaginative to me….

Ah Tim, politics like sport is all about seizing the moment ;-)

You’re right about I-player, they’ve missed a trick there.
