Crime maps: Metropolitan police kick off with a test site

Crime Maps are go. At least, crime maps are being tested by the Met police right now. And on a quick first glance, they look quite impressive.

The Power of Information Taskforce has been building proof of concept crime maps and talking to the Met and other organisations who have an interest in this field.

I’d be really grateful for your thoughts on them. What can be improved? Are they going in the right direction?
