Blogging death penalty in Iran?

Global voices reports that the Iranian parliament discussed new laws that “toughen punishment for disturbing mental security in society.”

The site reported that “The text of the Bill would add ‘establishing websites and weblogs promoting corruption, prostitution and apostasy’ to the list of crimes punishable by death.”

It’s a good job we don’t make habit of invading countries with bad human rights and ‘evil’ dictators in order to provide ‘regime change’ isn’t it…oh.

Every time I read these kind of articles it makes me appreciate being an Australian that much more.
