No. Less able to digest and recall large amounts of difficult or dense information? Absolutely. The internet helps us have a broader, but shallower, understanding of the world around us. Want to know the GDP of Belgium? - ok this is rarely the case - no problem, I can find it in about 45 secs on Google. Why would I need to 'know' this information when its so readily available? That said part of me regrets the fact that I now have the attention span and recall of a gnat. Stupid? No. Less able to digest and recall large amounts of difficult or dense information? Absolutely.
