Fascinating debate, if you’re into the power of information agenda, over at Simon’s site on the use of post codes and the availability of the register. I’m told that the licensing of the national postcode register is an ‘old chestnut’. I’m going to spend some time trying to understand just why it can’t be available for free or at marginal cost.
