Happy birthday Internet – a quarter of a century today

Many IT experts believe that the most logical date of origin of the Internet is January 1st 1983, when the ARPANET officially switched from the NCP protocol to TCP/IP. TCP/IP is fairly meaningless to most interweb users. But the Internet being 25 today, that deserves a celebration.

Happy birthday Internet.

How did we all waste our time before it was invented? Other than Space Invaders, I can’t remember. What did you do before the Internet?
