Junior developed the bug on Friday, Mrs Watson, on Saturday. So it was only a matter of time before it hit me. I was so ill I missed Evil Kneivel night on BBC2. Still, it meant I caught up with the seed catalogues and gardening magazines without doing any heavy lifting.
The Royal Horticultural Society have set up the Campaign for School Gardening. An initiative I fully endorse.
