Comments on Nigel Hastilow’s blog

What I am about to write is going to seem strange given my previous posts. Nigel Hastilow is a political opponent but I have some personal experience of what he is going through right now. And I can tell you it is miserable. So I want to put a matter straight.

We have had a series of email exchanges to do with the racist comments that appeared on Nigel’s blog. I am now completely satisfied that the reason they were on the site was because Nigel lacked blog experience and technical knowledge of the ‘blogger’ platform.

I don’t think he approves of the sentiment of the racist comments and from our conversation, I think he finds the language as appalling as I do. The words have been deleted from his site and as far as I am concerned and I hope readers of this blog, the matter is closed.
