Cam’s secret speech writer – have you seen him?

“It might be messy but it’s..” a speech written by six foot, fair haired bloke in a dark suit. I’ve talked to the lawyer who witnessed the conversation about David Cameron’s mystery speech writer and he confirmed that the gentleman was lapping up praise for the “from the heart” words that he’d written for Mr Cameron (I can’t get a permalink to the Kevin Maguire story but it’s headed “Cam’s big speech con” on his blog). His hair was supposed to be “crinkly” like a public school boy’s. Any idea who this clever person might be?

I know maybe 50 or 60 people that meet that could meet that description. Anyway, I’m looking for the person who wrote the Sion Simon you tube masterpiece. My auntie’s next door neighbour knows a journalist who said that a lawyer friend of his overheard some Labour party members congratulating a man in his forties who said that he wrote it. He was last seen in a suit. Any ideas?

Heh. Is that all you’ve got, Praguetory? This, and taking p-weak kidney punches while my blog is down? Pathetic.

Tell me that one again about Tom being my client. It’s almost as amusing as watching a serial retro-moderator complaining that his comments are ‘censored’ on other websites.

PS – Blogging this now, Tom. While some Tories would like to downplay it, identifying this braggart is worth a little time and effort.

Could be Danny Kruger – also fits the description and style of someone in Osborne’s team I hear.

But this all must be bluster, didn’t the speech have the imprint of the hand of Hilton?

“His hair was supposed to be “crinkly” like a public school boy’s”

Now that Albert Shanker mentions it, it does sound a lot like Matthew Hancock – George Osborne’s top lacky.

It was a totally lacklustre speech lacking in any conviction or strength, well I guess it is symbolic of what this smug Old Etonian is all about. I think Labour should look at a poster campaign with Cam in his Bullingdon finest. That would make the public aware that lightweight Cam is a total Sham.

[...] Re the previous post, I went and read a little of Tom Watson’s blog. A most interesting comment re the speechwriter of Cameron’s conference piece (oh, come on, you don’t think he actually wrote it himself do you?): [...]
