Once upon a time we had laws in Britain that protected the consumer, the people, the public from such things. I remember the kite mark.
Now it seems all laws are to the detriment of the people and only serve to protect the government from criticism and the profit margins of companies.

This news about chinese goods is most alarming. I’ve just found some prawn crackers in my cupboard that must have been there for years without anyone giving them a second thought and now I find out they could be a health risk! Is nobody safe?
