Iain Dale

Iain Dale – spinning for Tory Central Office again. Depress expectations for the Tories; frame victory for Cameron if he beats the Liberals and then fly out to Rwanda to get onto another news agenda.

I don’t mind Iain doing this stuff for Conservative Central Office but you can’t ride two horses. He’s either ordinary blogger Iain Dale or Tory A-lister and political operative Iain Dale.

Update: I don’t think Iain is very happy though note that he has chosen not to link to his incisive analysis from the Guardian.

Thank you for drawing my attention to a piece that I would not otherwise have read

How can anyone think that those scions of Tory Central Office, Mr. Fawkes and Mr. Dale are anything but samizdat replacations of Steve Hilton’s latest whims.

I suppose it’s the old anti-establishment myth isn’t it?

John Redwood in lift about Alastair Darling:

“He’s got something of the scholarship boy about him”
