Cam came in secret

Why do you think that David Cameron would make his fifth visit to Ealing in secret today?

To finally wrap up that Cllr Noori defection?

Or, more likely, to leave Mr Lit with a glass of scotch and a loaded pistol.

Maybe he didn’t want you to blog about it?!

Oh naughty Mr Watson, you’re toying with us your faithful readers. Has Mr L decided that he’s not a Tory after all?

Because Tony Lit has decided to withdraw …

He’s starring in a new Ealing Comedy called “Carry on Boris “, a comedy romp set in London featuring Ken “Williams” Livingstone, Boris “Sid” Johnson and Anne “Barbara” Widdicombe.

Understandably given that he will need a new job post the general election, he is keen to develop his acting career. Sadly, though, his latest role “a caring conservative” has not been a huge success with many electors spotting that his acting style has failed to cover up his base, right wing instincts. Hence why he has kept his visit quiet.

Goodness me Tom, this had better be good …

I’m sure the tv cameras and the press association will keep their footage and commentary of DC in the nursery hush hush then…

This may have some legs locally and help Man Wit later. John Leech is a part time MP sent to help Naughty Nigel claim he will be a full timer.

Has Tony Lit stuck the papers in to be a Tory mayoral candidate?

If this all ends in ‘sorry, false alarm…’ :)

From the Guardian @ 4pm: “Their candidate, Tony Lit, will be the guest of honour at a “Cocktails with Cameron” party at Ealing town hall tonight, despite revelations that he previously donated money to the Labour party as part of his role at Sunrise Radio”.

Either the Grauniad is late with this story or the Tories are having hell of a lot of cocktail parties…

I understood that Cameron was having drinks in Ealing Town Hall tonight. If I know that I don’t presume it is secret.

I think you will find he was attending a fundraiser for Angie Bray, which had been in his diary for months. It was nothing to do with the by election. Sorry to spoil your conspiracy.

The rumour in local Tory circles is that the deal that Cameron did with the defecting Gurcharan Singh is that Angie Bray (who’s been a pretty invisible candidate) will be sent to the Lords, and Singh will be imposed as the new Tory candiate for Ealing Central and Acton.

Now that IS very funny.
