The key is universal acceptance that the smallest unit of critical importance is the world itself and not a particular continent, country, region, town, housing estate, neighbourhood or street. That notion also requires a realisation that every person within that smallest unit is as important as the next – which means that we’ve all got to get (relatively) poorer to enable many others in the globe to get (relatively) richer.
