Creationism in UK schools?

If this story is true, then it is simply outrageous. A teacher applies for a job in the King’s Academy school and is asked about his views on Noah’s Ark. Then he is allegedly told “What is the point of sending young people out into the world with 20 GCSEs when they’re going to go to Hell?” The school deny the story saying that the teacher’s account is “untrue”. Hmmmm. Hat tip to Labour Humanists.

The beauty of the Ark story is that it was easily proven.

It rained for 40 days and 40 nights and we had a flood.
How do we know this and creationists dine out on it?
Very simple!

On top of every mountain is a hoard of sea shells.

Debate over.

Darwin made a fortune out of proving this with another story.

He was there to teach philosophy, so one of the interviewers clearly tried to start a philosophical debate.
